Our modern yacht club is located in Blankenberge, halfway between the French and Dutch borders, 3 miles south of Zeebrugge.

What was originally a real fishing port (see further on our site for a brief history) is now a modern marina, within walking distance of the sea wall, the beach and the city center. The central location of our marina makes it unique on the Flemish coast. And our seaside city offers something for everyone. The well-sheltered marina is easy to walk to. Once through the half mile channel between both pier walls you will find our registration jetty immediately after rounding our harbor office on the starboard side. We have almost 350 berths at jetties 2 to 8: spacious boxes with finger piers, power and water supply. WIFI is available on all jetties. Our modern clubhouse houses our offices, a spacious sanitary block and a culinary restaurant 'CABO' with a large terrace and a beautiful panoramic view of the harbor channel and the marina. And in the immediate vicinity you will also find everything you need to make your stay pleasant: catering, bakery, butcher, supermarket, port companies (sail maker, water sports shop, etc.). A short walk or bike ride (you can reserve a bike with us) will take you to the heart of our beautiful seaside city.

VVW Blankenberge is the proud holder of the prestigious “4 Gold Anchors” award and the Blue Flag. We also received the 'Sustainable Coastal Project 2014' award.

We try to work environmentally conscious and energy-friendly. Therefore, be frugal with water and electricity consumption. The drinking water on the jetties may not be used to rinse your vessel.

Port office

Here you can register to arrange your stay in our port. You will then receive a card that gives you access to the sanitary facilities (toilets and showers, washing machine, dryer) and to the container park. In 2024 we want to provide all our visitors with a welcome package including a nice gift - while supplies last. We are also happy to provide you with all the information that will make your stay here as pleasant as possible.

You can also reserve a bicycle here.

We also have a multi-purpose room that you can rent for events (meetings, parties, etc.). A culinary package can also be developed for this in consultation with Cabo restaurant.

Blankenberge offers numerous possibilities to spend your holiday. You can enjoy a quiet meal or visit a terrace in the immediate vicinity of your mooring. But Blankenberge also offers many interesting sights: the historic Pier, which was completely renovated in 2022-2023 (unique for Belgium and the Atlantic coast, you will only find one in Scheveningen), the Belle Epoque center (a must see!), a Sea Life center, the Huisje van Majutte (an authentic fisherman's house of > 250 years old, now a museum and café), the beautiful nature reserve Uitkerkse Polder, ... and much more ;-)

See www.visit-blankenberge.be to organize your stay yourself.

The historic city of Bruges (the Venice of the North!) is nearby - about 10 minutes by train. Here too you will find numerous options to spend a pleasant day: a boat trip on the canals, a visit to the historic and unique Belfry, many high-quality museums, ... or simply a walk through this beautiful historic city.
